Chicken and dumplings:
Simmer chicken in water (cover pot) with 1 sick of butter, 1 onion, and one banana pepper. Cook until chicken is done. Remove the chicken and take out half the broth. Then add 1 can of cream of chicken and one can of cream of mushroom. Simmer on low. Add some of the broth taken out if the gravy if the pot is too thick. Add the dumplings to the pot and simmer until the dumplings are done.
Dumplings: take buttermilk biscuits (2 large cans), flatten them out on a bed of flour after sprinkling them with salt, pepper, and Zatarain’s seasoning. After flat, cut into thin strips then add to the pot.
Cut chicken into bite size pieces and add the chicken to the pot. Continue to simmer.
