You Don’t Know What You’ve Got Till It’s Gone

you don't know what you've got

“Don’t it always seem to go, that you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone” . . . That song has been playing in my head since I woke up this morning.  I think it’s interesting that we all know it to be true, but it often takes a loss to realize how much someone or something meant to us.  It’s so easy to go about our lives and complain about what may be inconvenient for us. We don’t always see the value in circumstances until those circumstances change.  It isn’t only people that we miss, it is experiences. As time passes, experiences change until we get far enough away that we are able to look back and think . . . remember that . . .. oh, I miss those days.

Today is tomorrow’s yesterday.  Embrace the day.  Treasure the moment
