The landscape changes,
It sweeps by as I gaze out the window.
From commercial buildings to fields of harvest,
From snowy mountains to the bayou.
I travel the road with my daughter.

Outside, the world is alien and unknown,
But within, we carry our home with us.
Safe within, we listen to Christmas Carols,
Safe within, we talk unfettered,
Sharing our thoughts and dreams.

This string of moments will pass,
Our journey will end.
But for now we are together,
Creating new memories,
As our latest adventure unfolds.
