From the time you were small, Christmas has meant Santa’s visit and presents under the tree, Jesus’s birthday, traditions old and new, and making memories that will last me a lifetime.  But through all the years, there has been no present under my tree that I have treasured more than you.

My wish for you is to have a life that is full of love and happiness.  That you will take care of your health and safety.  That you will reach for your dreams but be grounded in your path with a solid foundation.  That you will find satisfaction in your accomplishments while still remaining humble.  That you will find the courage to wade through life’s challenges.  That you will find someone to share your life with who will share both your blessings and your burdens.

You are my child and my greatest gift.
