You can tell a child that you love them a million times, but it’s what they see that tells them the truth.  Let them know from your smile that when they walk into the room, your world lights up.  Let them know that when they leave, your eyes fill with tears.  Let them know that your tears are the result of a mixture of how much you will miss them, together with how happy you are for them. Let them know that no matter what happens to them in life, they will always have you.  Let them know that they have made your life complete.  Let them know that without them you would be an open circle, forever waiting for that connection.  Let them know that their dreams have become your dreams.  Let them know that you accept them for who they are.  Let them know that you take pride in their accomplishments and even their attempts at rectifying their failures.  Let them know that you are not perfect and that you don’t expect them to be perfect either.  Let them know all of these things with your actions, not just with your words.
