There are people who insist on inserting themselves into your life and with them comes a cancer that destroys everything that is good.  They feed on your sympathy, your empathy, your love, and desire to believe that there is good in everyone.  I am sorry that there are people like this in the world.  I am sorry that they hurt others.  But the only way to deal with them is to cut them out of your life as if they really were a cancer.  Because if you let them stay, they will turn you into a person you don’t recognize and then they will destroy you.
